THE GREAT UMPQUA JULY 4TH FOOD TRUCK COMPETITION

We are combining three great events into a one-day extravaganza starting first with a mega FOOD TRUCK COMPETITION fighting for a $10K first, $5K second and $2.5K third prizes! The fun will continue into the evening with a one-night MUSIC ON THE HALF SHELL concert, then after the music, catch the ROSEBURG HOMETOWN FIREWORKS!

The GREAT UMPQUA FOOD TRUCK COMPETITION event will include local and regional Food Trucks, a broad range of beer and wine, more music, a kids play area, and more.

This will be a great day for the whole family, come celebrate the 4th with us!

    ASHLAND 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION

    4th of July Freedom Run 745 am Register Here

    The event begins with a run organized by the Ashland Parks & Recreation Department, followed by a Parade enjoyed by an estimated 20,000 spectators beginning at 10:00am that day.  After the parade concludes, there are over one hundred booths in Lithia Park featuring food, crafts, information booths and a Family Activity Zone while bands, including the Ashland City Band perform all afternoon at the Lithia Park Bandshell.  Then, enjoy spectacular Fireworks beginning at dusk which are visible all over town.

    FYI: If you want to see fireworks in Ashland: The fireworks are launched on Iowa Street between Walker and Wightman, so this section of Iowa Street and the area around it is closed. This area will remained closed on the the night of July 4th until the fireworks pyrotechnicians have cleared the fields for safety. Please stay safe by remaining clear from this area until it has been opened to the public.

    7am: Rotary Pancake Breakfast – Legion Hall Until 10am. Adults $7, age 6-13- $6. Proceeds go to Rotary scholarships.

    7am: Sand Sculpture Contest – Dock Beach Sponsored & staffed by Rogue Credit Union. Free admission. Check-in/rules at 7am. Prizes awarded at 10:30am

    8am: Fireworks Sales at Battle Rock Park – all proceeds benefit the Jubilee fireworks show!

    9am: Flower Show - Port Orford Library. Non-judged show. Open until 3pm.

    9am: American Flag sale – Along the parade route – by the Port Orford Library ‘Friends Store”

    9am: “Parade of Books” sale – Port Orford Library Until 3pm

    10am: Coast Guard Museum open. Until 3:30pm (Lighthouse & Hughes House closed July 4th)

    10am: Baby Contest – At Visitor Center Baby judging - newborn to 3 years. Ribbons awarded!

    10am: Quilt Show – Community Building On 11th St. Until 4pm. *also on July 3rd from noon to 4pm

    10am: Photography Exhibit - Port Orford Library July 4th thru August 1, until 4pm each day.

    11am: THE JUBILEE PARADE! Lineup at 9am on 19th street. Pre-judging at 10am. 2017 Parade Grand Marshal: Norma Anderson

    12 Noon: “Battle of the Bands” – Bands & music at Buffington baseball field. Until 4pm

    EDENVALE WINERY SIP, SLIP & SLIDE 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION

    We'll have our Giant Slip & Slide through the vineyard set up to cool you all down - kids welcome!  We'll also have Growler King's new 10 Tap Beer Truck here for the afternoon serving ice cold brews and of course we'll have EdenVale wine and our famous Sangria pouring!  The BBQ will be fired up and we'll be serving burgers, hot dogs and pulled pork sandwiches, $10/meal with chips & drink!  For those of you who don't want to get wet we'll have an assortment of yard games: Bocce ball, bean bag toss & more to play and plenty of shady spots to relax!Link to EdenVale Winery Event
