For 55 years, the Talent Harvest Festival has been the heart of our community's fall tradition. What started in 1971 as a simple celebration of our agricultural heritage has blossomed into a premier Jackson County community gathering, bringing together thousands of neighbors, friends, and visitors to celebrate the bounty of our beautiful Rogue Valley.

After a challenging two-year pause due to the Almeda Wildfire and pandemic, our community's overwhelming enthusiasm for the festival's 2022 return proved just how much this event means to all of us. With 6,000 people flooding downtown Talent that year, we knew we were back stronger than ever!

This year promises to be our biggest and best yet, with over 8,000 expected visitors from across Southern Oregon and Northern California. Come experience

• Over 100 local vendors showcasing everything from fresh harvest produce to handcrafted artisan goods.

• The 2nd annual ‘Wheely’ Fun Parade. 

• The Talent Harvest Festival 10K, 5K & 1 mile race produced by Southern Oregon Runners.

• Live music filling multiple stages.

• Multiple beer gardens at local restaurants.

• Cider pressing.

• Loads of family activities provided by 30+ local organizations.

Best of all? Admission is completely FREE, ensuring everyone can join in the celebration of our resilient community and rich agricultural traditions.

The Roseburg Blocktober Fest is a one-day event in historic downtown Roseburg to experience much of what Roseburg has to offer in art, music, makers, food, drink, and family fun on

In honor of  Día de muertos, or Day of the Dead, come plant a Marigold to put on your own Ofrenda, or plant in your yard. Those who celebrate this tradition believe the flower helps the dead find their way back to their loved ones in the living world through its vibrant color and strong scent. Because of these strong properties, marigolds or cempasúchil are used to decorate altars or ofrendas and the graves of the deceased.

Come plant a flower, decorate the pot it sits in, and watch the film Coco with us to celebrate. This program will be presented in English. 

En honor al Día de muertos, ven a plantar una flor de cempasúchil para colocarla en tu propia ofrenda o para plantarla en tu jardín. Quienes celebran esta tradición creen que la flor ayuda a los difuntos a encontrar el camino de regreso con sus seres queridos en el mundo de los vivos, gracias a su color vibrante y su aroma intenso. Debido a estas características, el cempasúchil se utiliza para decorar altares u ofrendas, así como las tumbas de los fallecidos.

• Bib pickup: Friday, October 10, 2025, at Common Block Brewing, 312 E 4th St, Medford, 4 pm to 7 pm

• Start times:

  • Marathon starts at 7:00 a.m. at Emigrant Lake County Park;

  • Half-marathon starts at 8:00 a.m. at Paschal Winery and Vineyard (1122 Suncrest Rd, Talent, OR);

  • 10k starts at 8:00 am in Medford on East 5th Street between Common Block Brewing and the Lithia Building;

  • The Kids 1-Mile starts at 11:00 a.m. in Medford on East 5th Street between Common Block Brewing and the Lithia Building

• Bus transportation to the start of the marathon and the half-marathon:

  • Buses will be in front of the Middleford parking garage on 6th Street between North Bartlett and Riverside.

    • Buses to the Marathon Start:

      • The first bus leaves at 5:15 a.m.;

      • The last bus for the marathon leaves at 5:45 a.m.

        • This bus will leave on time, and no other ride options will be provided after this. Please do not wait for the last bus as there may not be room.

Walk 'N Roll Parade of Superheroes

Come dressed as your favorite superhero and walk, roll, skip, or bike in our parade at Twin Creeks Park! Parade route is approximately 1 mile.

There will be a costume contest, prizes, games, food trucks, and a decoration station to decorate any wheelchairs, wagons, or bikes.

Fun starts at 10am, parade starts at 11am.
Costume contest and raffle winners announced after the parade.

100% of donations go to pediatric oncology services at Asante here in the Rouge Valley.

Return of the Salmon Family Field Day

This is the valley's premier craft beer event held in beautiful Grants Pass on Saturday, October 10th. The Chamber of Commerce places breweries inside downtown businesses. Participants stroll from location to location sampling amazing craft brews and delicious food!

Each participant will receive a commemorative event pint glass, an insulated re-usable tote for shopping, an event map and (1) tasting per location. We will have at least 20 participating locations.  There will be (4) FREE trolley stops along the event route for ease of reaching the further locations.

Tickets can be purchased at the Grants Pass & Josephine County Chamber of Commerce located at 1995 NW Vine St or online.

The Parade begins at 3:30pm at the Ashland Public Library and will proceed down E. Main to the plaza. Children and their families are invited to participate in the procession and then trick or treat at businesses around town before heading home for their evening of fun! 

Pioneer Run 9mile and 5k

When: November 14th 2026, 9 Mile 9am| 5k 9:30am

Packet Pickup and Day of registration at 8:15am

What: Pioneer Road Run. Age division ribbons will be given.

Come celebrate growing season with a self-guided tour of the Applegate Valley Wine Country. Fall is the perfect time to visit our 16 tasting rooms. The winegrapes have been picked, pressed, and barreled, and the winemakers have time to chat.

Pick your starting location, and let yourself be lured from one winery to the next. Each will offer an appetizer and wine for tasting. You’ll even get to meet some of the latest releases! Uncorked is a great opportunity to stock up on wine for upcoming gifts, or parties.

Tickets are $59 and include a commemorative Wine Trail wine glass.

Bonus: Designated drivers don’t need to purchase a ticket and may sample the food.

Please Note – In an effort to conserve natural resources no tickets are mailed. You have your purchase confirmation as a receipt. Simply arrive at the location you’ve chosen, and your name will be on a list to check in and start your tour. For those who have groups who want to start at the same location, please purchase your tickets early and make sure everyone chooses the same start location. Locations fill up so that’s the best assurance of everyone getting your first choice start location.

Come to Talent, Oregon for our Thanksgiving run! We will be hosting a food drive for the SOU food bank and a portion of the proceeds will go to SOR Student Runners Programs which include Shoes for Kids (provides shoes to Jr. High and High School athletes who would like to participate in Cross Country and Track but cannot afford proper running shoes), KidsRunFree (provides free entry to all SOR races for kids 18 & under), and XC Project (provides timing support for schools during cross country season).

Packet Pick Up - November 25th from 3:30-8pm at Legend Cider Co. Talent Taphouse, 245 W Valley View, Talent, Oregon 97540. Packet pick up is also available from 7-8am on the day of the race. NO IN PERSON REGISTRATION will be offered. 

Participants will receive a custom race bib and finishers medal. No age group awards.
