We will be hosting a food drive for the SOU food bank and a portion of the proceeds will go to SOR Shoes for Student Runners Program which provides shoes to Jr. High and High School athletes who would like to participate in Cross Country and Track but cannot afford proper running shoes.

Packet Pick Up and Registration - November 27th from 3-8pm at Legend Cider Co. Talent Taphouse, 245 W Valley View, Talent, Oregon 97540. Packet pick up is also available from 6:45-7:45am on the day of the race. NO DAY OF REGISTRATION will be offered. 

Participants will receive a custom race bib and finishers medal. No age group awards.

Come celebrate growing season with a self-guided tour of the Applegate Valley Wine Country. Fall is the perfect time to visit our 16 tasting rooms. The winegrapes have been picked, pressed, and barreled, and the winemakers have time to chat.

Pick your starting location, and let yourself be lured from one winery to the next. Each will offer an appetizer and wine for tasting. You’ll even get to meet some of the latest releases! Uncorked is a great opportunity to stock up on wine for upcoming gifts, or parties.

Tickets are $59 and include a commemorative Wine Trail wine glass.

Bonus: Designated drivers don’t need to purchase a ticket and may sample the food.

Simply arrive at the location you’ve chosen, and your name will be on a list to check in and start your tour. For those who have groups who want to start at the same location, please purchase your tickets early and make sure everyone chooses the same start location. Locations fill up so that’s the best assurance of everyone getting your first choice start location.

The Day of the Dead Race & Celebration event allows us to promote cultural understanding and unity, while also promoting health and wellness in our community.

The Parade begins at 3:30pm at the Ashland Public Library and will proceed down E. Main to the plaza. Children and their families are invited to participate in the procession and then trick or treat at businesses around town before heading home for their evening of fun!

Bellview Elementary School's 83rd annual Carnival will be held on Saturday, October 25. Be dared to be scared at our haunted house, try your luck at the endless game booths set up in the gym, ask a fortune teller to look into your future, and munch on some cotton candy while you wait in line to get your face painted.

Tickets are 2 for $1. Activities are 1 to 2 tickets each. Costumes are encouraged. It's going to be spooktacular

It’s our annual fall fest where we set up a pumpkin-carving area on the patio (that’s the bales) and pour our latest seasonal beverages (that’s the ales). Plus, we’ll be serenaded with live music from Mountaintop Sound and Jared Gutridge Duo throughout the day. Get your pumpkin-carving, heel-tapping, fall-celebrating boots on!

Cultural & Ecological Enhancement Network is holding a Scarecrow Contest. Scarecrows should be life-sized for outdoor display. All entries must be signed in at the Acorn Festival by noon on October 18th. The public will vote on their favorite scarecrows until 4pm. Winner will be announced at 4:30pm and winner will receive $100

FREE train rides on the scale-model route. Pumpkins available for purchasse.

Two dates for the Pumpkin Express: October 18 & 25, 2025. Trains will operate 10-3 both days Rain or Shine! Bring your ghosts and goblins for a spooky good time. We accept donations for the train ride; no advance ticket sales.

Return of the Salmon Family Field Day

This is the valley's premier craft beer event held in beautiful Grants Pass on Saturday, October 11th. The Chamber of Commerce places breweries inside downtown businesses. Participants stroll from location to location sampling amazing craft brews and delicious food!

Each participant will receive a commemorative event pint glass, an insulated re-usable tote for shopping an, event map and (1) tasting per location. We will have at least 20 participating locations.  There will be (4) FREE trolley stops along the event route for ease of reaching the further locations.

Come dressed as your favorite superhero and walk, roll, skip, or bike in our parade at Twin Creeks Park! Parade route is approximately 1 mile.

There will be a costume contest, prizes, games, food trucks, and a decoration station to decorate any wheelchairs, wagons, or bikes.

Fun starts at 10am, parade starts at 11am.
Costume contest and raffle winners announced after the parade.

      • The first bus leaves at 5:15 a.m.;

      • The last bus for the marathon leaves at 5:45 a.m.

        • This bus will leave on time, and no other ride options will be provided after this. Please do not wait for the last bus as there may not be room.
