Main Street Grants Pass will be coordinating this year’s Main Street Monster March, formerly known as the Halloween Safe Walk, a safe and fun downtown Halloween tradition for families of all ages.

Trick-or-Treating: 3:00–5:00 PM
Costume Contest Sign-Up: 5:00–5:30 PM

Location: Downtown Grants Pass & the Children’s Museum Parking Lot

Costume Contest Details

• All ages welcome! Separate categories for younger kids and teens/adults.

• Entry Fee: Ages 0–12: $5 | Ages 13+: $10

• Awards in Each Age Group:
   • Scariest Costume
   • Most Creative Costume
   • Funniest Costume
   • Best Couple or Group Costume
   • Best of Show

• Prizes: Engraved Halloween-themed medals for each category.
    Best of Show winners receive a custom Halloween trophy and cash prize:
    • Ages 0–12: $25
    • Ages 13+: $50

Families will “march” through downtown, visiting participating businesses for candy and treats between 3–5 PM.

• Contestants can sign up between 5:00–5:30 PM at the Children’s Museum parking lot, with the contest starting at 5:30 PM.

• Merchants simply hand out candy or small giveaways.

• Main Street will provide printable window signs, coordinate the event, and handle all promotion.
