The Vineyard Tour Road Bike Ride is a cycling event held each September sponsored by Umpqua Velo Cycling Club and offers 5 cycling routes to appeal to riders of all ages and abilities. Meet other people like yourself on a back country road in the beautiful Umpqua Valley wine country. Bike routes range from 15 mile, 30 mile, 50 mile half century, 75 mile, to 100 mile century. Each route uses scenic lightly traveled rural roads that follow the striking Umpqua River. Cyclist will pass by dozens of vineyards, wineries, forests, fields, and orchards along the way. 18 wineries in the Applegate participate in this fun, self-guided tour. You pick your starting location from the list below, but you’re free to visit any number of the 18 wineries on the Trail. Each winery will offer both an appetizer and a wine for tasting. This event also provides a great opportunity to stock up on wines for gifts or parties. We encourage you to bring your friends, designate a driver and enjoy this great event. Its also the perfect opportunity to explore new wineries that you’ve never been to before! Note that the food pairings provided are not meant to be “meals”. We encourage participants to consider dining before or after the event.
Designated drivers don’t need to purchase a ticket and may sample the food.

Annual Parks Uncorked Fundraising Event:
The Medford Parks & Recreation Foundation and Medford Rogue Rotary Club are proud to host a worthy event for its upcoming ninth edition. Parks Uncorked will provide an evening of wine tasting, food and music in an effort to raise funds and awareness of the Medford Parks & Recreation Foundation as well as the Medford Rogue Rotary Club. Funds raised for this event will be used to provide scholarships for youth who wish to participate in Parks & Recreation programming as well as academic scholarships offered by Medford Rogue Rotary.
The 2017 event will feature; local wineries from the Bear Creek Wine Trail with tasting from their selected inventories, catered hors d'oeuvres, live entertainment and both an oral and a silent auction.
About Parks Uncorked:
The Medford Parks and Recreation Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c) (3), was established in 2005. The Foundation was looking to create a signature event that would raise awareness and funds for the organization and the Play Every Day Scholarship Fund.

Vineyards, breweries, distillers, local artisan food makers are all under the festival canopy serving tastes, and selling products. Tasting glasses and tickets to sample the flavors will be for sale at the Pear A Fare entrance. Vendors will also be selling wine, beer, spirits, coffee, and other local drinks by the glass. Our artisan food makers will have a wide variety of products for sale as well as samples available. Thank you to Pear-a-Fare glass sponsor, Medford BMW.

Roam the Rogue is the perfect way experience the Upper Rogue region of our valley. Wine’d through the beautiful and scenic Upper Rogue in this self-guided tour from 11-5pm on Saturday and savor the wines, deliciously paired appetizers at all 5 participating wineries. Tickets for A Taste of Ashland are: $65 for both Saturday and Sunday, $55 for Saturday only and $45 for Sunday only. Despite demand, tickets to the Taste remain limited so as to ensure that it is not over-crowded. A free shuttle by AllAboard Trolley, will offer rides to all 17 galleries, but most are within walking distance.
