How many years we skipped over this viewpoint as we drove to Bend! It’s a perfect rest stop with a .3 mile loop trail and awe inspiring views of the Wild and Scenic Rogue River tumbling through a deep gorge. You will also see volcanic lava tubes along your walk with a gorgeous waterfall view where you turn. Don’t skip over this as you drive highway 62.
Do note that sometimes when there is deep snow the viewpoint will be closed.
