AUTHOR APPLICATION
Thank you for your interest in becoming an attending author at the Southern Oregon Book Festival!
The Southern Oregon Book Festival will be on Saturday, March 13, 2027 from 10am - 5pm. The author fair portion of the festival will take place during the entirety of these hours and there will be other adjacent events the morning and evening as well. Please note that we are limited in the number of author applications we can approve and we will do our best to ensure that a variety of genres and stories that are aligned with Southern Oregon Book Fest’s mission are represented at the festival.
Please submit this author fair application by checking the I Agree box at the end of this form. You will pay your vendor fee after you receive verification that you have been accepted. If you get accepted your author vendor fee will be due by August 15th, 2026
Paying your booth fee:
Your booth fee is non-refundable.
If you do not pay your fee by August 15th your spot will be released to make room for other authors that may be on our waitlist.
Important Things to Know:
The Southern Oregon Book Festival will be held at Bigham Knoll School House in Jacksonville, Oregon on Saturday, March 13th, 2027 from 10am to 5pm. Setup will be on Friday evening starting at 5pm - 9pm.
We are expecting between 1000+ attendees for the day.
Tables and chairs will be provided. Authors will share a 6 foot table, each occupying a 3 foot space. Spaces will be approximately 3 x 6 per author.
Single Booth pricing: $50 | Double booth pricing: $100
We cannot guarantee where you will be located, but we will be thoughtful about placement. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Your booth fee is non-refundable. If your plans change and you need to cancel, please notify us so we can adjust the vendor area layout.

Alcohol or drugs are not allowed on Bigham Knoll campus.
Weapons are not allowed on Bigham Knoll campus premises.
The undersigned voluntarily chooses to participate in the Southern Oregon Book Festival. The undersigned therefore knowingly, freely, and voluntarily assumes all risk of injury and waives any claim, right, cause of action or demand for loss, damage, destruction or injury of any kind whatsoever, including but not limited to: Cost, loss of service, expense and/or compensation known or unknown, now or in the future, arising out of the undersigned's participation in the above referenced activities, against the City of Jacksonville, What to do in Southern Oregon, Southern Oregon Book Festival, and all the officers, employees, agents, and assignees thereof, respectively.
The undersigned consents and agrees that photographs and video taken during the Southern Oregon Book Festival may be used for promotional purposes. Return of this agreement shall be deemed acceptance of these provisions.
Southern Oregon Book Festival is a rain or shine event and will not be cancelled.
