Southern Oregon Historical Society volunteers have potted some old-fashioned lilacs, hellebores, columbine, peonies, iris, daylilies, and many more plants, for Hanley Farm’s 2-day heritage plant sale.
This year’s sale offers over 50 varieties of shrubs, perennials & herbs, including some pink, double, old Garden Bushes, and a yellow rose that appears to be started from the Log Town Rose, brought to the valley by early pioneers. There are even a few pots of green fig trees available for purchase. Activities include, wagon rides; a special exhibit of miniature Faery Gardens, at least one of which will be raffled to a lucky winner; Saturday, 12pm-3pm, Children are welcome to make kites; and Sunday, 12pm-3pm, there will be a tea tent. Join us, celebrate spring and add history to your landscape!
