1920s Garden Party at Hanley Farm

  • Hanley Farm 1053 Hanley Rd Central Point, Oregon 97502 (map)

Come dressed in your 1920s finest! Join the Southern Oregon Historical Society as we usher in summer on Sunday, June 15, with a 1920s garden party at SOHS Hanley Farm, located at 1053 Hanley Road in Central Point (just outside of Jacksonville). Between 5 and 8pm, you can enjoy live music, good drinks, tasty bites, and great company! And what better way to spend Father’s Day than to take your father (or husband) for a spin on the dance floor!

Tickets are $25 for adults; $10 for children 18 and under

1920s’ attire is optional, but you’ll definitely be in a “Roaring ‘20s” mood with an evening that includes:

  • Music by “The Bathtub Gin Serenaders” playing pre-WWII hot jazz and early blues classics from the American songbook (6 to 8pm).

  • An exclusive, “one night only,” tour of the historic Hanley House, featuring iconic outfits of the 1920s from the SOHS Collection.

  • Your choice of a sparkling non-alcoholic beverage and commemorative coupe glass for extra-fancy sipping!

  • Themed snacks for light munching.

  • Croquet on the lawn.

  • Photo ops galore at beautiful Hanley Farm, a National Register Historic Landmark

Arrive by 5:30 for a complimentary dance lesson before the band starts! And you’re welcome to bring a picnic to share with your family and friends. There will also be food available to purchase from The Toasted Cheese Truck.

So mark the calendar for June 15 and join us as we step back in time for a fun evening at a 1920s Summer Garden Party!
