We are huge readers in our household. Before I even had kids I was building libraries for my future children curating all of my favorites, the classics, and others that I loved as a child. From the start of my pregnancies I would read to them and when they got into preschool we read so many books weekly that we were always the top readers of the class. We felt that it was so important that we not only read to them but our hopes were that they would become avid readers just like mom. Well here we are with two teenagers and just as we hoped they are voracious readers and they both love to read not only digitally, but they like the feeling and smell of books–if you know, you know.

Every town we visit we have to check out the local book shops not only to find the books we need, but to support the small local businesses and enjoy the local flavor that every indie bookshop adds. Now we want to share our indie bookshop list with you. We will start in Medford where we live then branch out from there.
