Step back in time as costumed docents guide you through the Hanley Farmhouse, all decked out for the holidays. They’ll share the rich history of the Hanley family and their home, and stories about how they celebrated the holidays. The first tour begins at 10:10am, and the last tour is at 2:45pm.

Meet on the Ashland Plaza at 5pm on the first day of Winter Thu Dec 21. Bring a lantern and your wand.

We will cast a protection for all the animals, take our first sip of Winter Elixir and awaken the Magical Minatures slumbering in Lithia Park.

PS You can join us at Scienceworks on Sun Dec 17 to create lanterns and snowflakes for our procession.

This winter season, join Rogue World Music in the ancient and festive tradition of WASSAILING! Folk traditions like Wassailing were born out of a time when all people sang as part of daily life. We invite you to come experience singing in community, lifting each other up with our voices, making a joyful noise!.

Grab your friends and a glass of wine and join us to make your own holiday wreath! We will provide all the materials and instructions needed. Wine, hot drinks, food and other goodies will be available for purchase. We have three dates available, use the link to buy your tickets from our website. Tickets are required to participate.

Our 106-year-old bridge will be dressed in greenery and lights and decked with a dozen decorated trees, with a raffle to take a very special one home. Mega bake sale. Gift shopping. Santa and Mrs. Claus. Free hot beverages. Proceeds support the MBHS Scholarship Program.

Bring the kids to see a real live Santa Claus and he will be giving
out free Christmas candy to all of the kiddies.

Wild Winter Wonderland is back!

Join us during for our three-day after-hours event for a great time. We’ve added more than 5,000 additional lights compared to 2022, and we’re going to light up the night.

Don’t forget to check out the gingerbread-theme area along Bindi’s Critter Creek, and check out how we’re decorating the Discovery Farm.

Don’t miss your chance to get your pictures with Santa and one of our Animal Ambassadors. Make sure to stop in the Rotary Pavilion to grab a complimentary cup of hot cocoa, cider or (kid-friendly) egg nog and a candy cane.

Smitty’s and WallFlour Bakery food trucks will be out here to add to the festivities.

Did we mention Santa and Mrs. Claus? How about the Grinch and maybe a new surprise guest this year?

From Dec. 15-17,  Santa will be front and center at Wildlife Images from 4 p.m.- 7 p.m. each day of the event as we celebrate out Wild Winter Wonderland. The park will be filled with lights, and Critter Creek will look like a gingerbread house. as you enjoy winter in the park.

Watch out for the Grinch. You never know what he’ll be up to.
