MYRTLE CREEK WINTER FESTIVAL AND TIMBER TRUCKERS LIGHT PARADE

The Winter Festival brings hundreds of people downtown  Myrtle Creek to enjoy free chili, hot cider and coffee.  Visitors can also enjoy the City Christmas tree and live Nativity scene and can shop at businesses that stay open late during the community event.  When the parade vehicles arrive, they park along Main Street and some side streets where they can viewed up close and visitors can take photographs and chat with the drivers.  The evening ends with the award of cash prizes in six categories and for "Best of Show".Link to Myrtle Creek Chamber of Commerce

Join the City of Central Point for our annual Community Christmas on Saturday December 3th. The parade will start at 5:00pm on Pine Street and the tree lighting will begin at 6:00pm behind City Hall and the Library. We will have fun activities for the whole family, Santa will be on site to visit with kiddos and we will have Kona Ice with hot cocoa!

It stars the nuns you love, plus Father Virgil and four of Mount Saint Helen's most talented students. Featuring all new songs, including "Twelve Days Prior to Christmas," "Santa Ain't Comin' to Our House," "We Three Kings of Orient Are Us" and "It's Better to Give than to Receive," this show is filled with wacky Nunsense humor, some of your favorite carols, and a "Secret Santa" sequence featuring audience participation. Certain to tickle your funny bone and likely to tug at your heartstrings, Nuncrackers is the perfect way to make your holiday season merry and bright!

The Eagle Point Community Association will hold it’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Santa’s Arrival on Friday, December 1st at 7:00 pm in Bob Moore Park on Main Street. After the tree lighting, Santa will arrive by fire truck to lead everyone to the City Hall where children will receive candy, stuffed animals

Rogue Winterfest is Josephine County’s largest holiday festival held at Evergreen Federal Bank’s Bear Hotel. Our 21st anniversary event will be held  November 30th-December 3rd to support Rogue Valley’s mental health organizations: Family Solutions, Kairos, and Options for Southern Oregon.

The 2023 Rogue Winterfest will include the exciting in-person Gala & Grand Auction featuring a selection of elaborately decorated holiday trees and more;  the popular Virtual Silent Auction offering unique experiences and items for guests to bid online on; and the Weekend Holiday Events with fun for the entire family. We invite you to join us in this magical series of holiday events that is Rogue Winterfest.

  • Victorian Christmas Parade: Saturday, December 2nd on California St. If you would like to participate in this year’s parade, please complete this form.

  • FATHER CHRISTMAS: On weekends between November 25th – December 19th you can take family pictures with Father Christmas and enjoy musical entertainment as you stroll the streets doing your holiday shopping. There is no charge for taking pictures with Father Christmas. We ask that all those 5+ wear a face covering and observe social distancing guidelines while waiting in line. You are welcome to take your own photos as there is no professional photographer. You will find Father Christmas on the 3rd St/California St. entrance of Beekman Bank 11am-4pm.

We'll have samplings of local wine, local Rogue creamery cheese, chocolate and more. Magical Michael will perform 2 magic shows, one at 1:30 pm and the other at 3 pm. Enjoy outdoor firepits, crafts for kids and plan on making the Northwest Nature Shop a part of your holiday weekend. All activities are free.

Shore Acres State Park Holiday Lights

The Holiday Light show at Shore Acres State Park features thousands of lights and displays in the formal garden.

Visitors can reserve their date, time and parking spot. Reservation is for vehicle parking only. Visitors in the car do not need tickets.

  • Parking reservation time slots are available for 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

  • Timed entry and parking must be reserved before arrival.

  • No onsite parking permit purchase is available during event hours.

Note: Free parking for Green Friday, Nov. 24, at all state parks that charge a parking fee applies during the daytime at Shore Acres, but not during event hours. Timed entry and parking reservation required 4:30-9 p.m.

JINGLE JOLLY HOLIDAY LIGHTS 5K RUN/WALK

The event starts and ends at Dunbar Farms in Medford at 5:00 PM. Get there early, get parked, and be ready for a short pre-run briefing before heading out to check out the lights. Once you return, Dunbar Farms will be serving up some amazing food options off their menu. Hot beverages and libations will be available as well. Stick around for the live music from 5:30-7:30 PM.

Registration for the event is FREE for all people, all paces, runners, walkers, kids, families, etc. We highly encourage you to dress up in your favorite holiday gear and bring a headlamp for some added visibility.

We’ll be sharing the specific menu and musical performers over the next few days.

We hope to see you all out at the farm!

Elkton’s studio & winery tour is on hold this year but you can still enjoy artists’ work and find great gifts while supporting local businesses Thanksgiving weekend.

View art! A new exhibit of local artists will be in the ECEC library. 

Find your perfect gift! Farm Pickins, The Attic Goblin, and the ECEC Gift Shop are open and ECEC’s online store is now live. (The Gift Shop is open Fri/Sat only; shop online 24/7!)

Buy wine! Wineries are open for bottle sales and wine can be shipped to most states. It’s a great time to stock up and introduce friends to Elkton wines.

Eat great food! Restaurants are limited to take out during the pause. Let’s show ’em our love and get dinner to go! Some have groceries and gift certificates too.

This is our annual fundraiser to benefit the Medford Railroad Park, now in our 36th year of operation to the public. Held inside the Jackson County Expo there will be a dozen or more operating model railroads of all sizes. In addition there will be historic railroad displays, exhibits from Rogue Valley model railroad manufacturers, a swap meet, Operation Lifesaver, door prizes and raffles. 

Admission is $5.00 for Adults. Children ages 6-12 is $1.00. Children 5 and under free w/paid adult.
