Dunbar Farms Mother's Day Brunch & Live Music
We have 2 events today just for mom! First up, treat mom to brunch! The team is creating a lovely menu with a variety of delicious brunch options. We will also be serving Mimosas, our wines, and a selection of other beverages. Reservations are required for brunch. We will have seatings at 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00 and 12:30. Second event: mom is ready to rock with The Robbie DaCosta Band is playing live music from 2-4pm. A lunch menu will be served from 1-5:30pm. Reservations are strongly recommended for lunch and the music event.

Rhododendron Sunday at Shore Acres State Park
Rhododendron Sunday/Mother’s Day at Shore Acres State Park – May 12, 2024. Treat mom and family to a delightful day at Shore Acres south of Charleston, Oregon. In the garden, Park Rangers will have a display of cut blooms and will be available to answer your questions about rhodies. The park is open from 8 a.m. to dusk and the Garden House will be open from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. with refreshments provided by the Friends of Shore Acres. ($5)

Paint-a-pot at the Grange Co-op
No registration necessary, come by any Grange Co-op location with the kids to participate in Paint-A-Pot. A FREE planting event from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We provide all the supplies necessary to successfully paint and choose a flower to be planted in a terracottapot for Mom.

LongSword Vineyard Mother's Day Kite Festival
Join us at LongSword Vineyard for our Annual Mother's Day Weekend Kite Festival May 11 & 12 from 12pm - 5pm
Free admission for this event!
Beverage service is available in the tasting room with LongSword wine, local beer, and nonalcoholic drinks available for purchase.
Patio and tasting room tables are reserved for winery patrons only.
Food trucks will be onsite vending both days - Peruvian Point will be here on Saturday (11th) and Sultan’s Delight on Sunday (12th).
BYO kites, lawn chairs and shade.
We will have some kites for sale (limited quantity)
LongSword's lawn chairs and umbrellas are limited and available on a first come basis.

Parking in designated areas only
Drive slowly
No dogs allowed for this event (that includes keeping them in your vehicle)
Smoke only on the gravel parking lot in designated area

Bring your kiddo to come create a beautiful succulent planter to give that pretty mama this Mother's Day!
Your child will choose 3 plants from a wide selection of succulents that they will pot up themselves using decorative rocks, lichens, shells and a MOM Pennant Flag they will get to create with paints.
She’s going to LOVE IT.
Ages 3 and up!
